CLIMATES AND LANDSCAPES OF THE WORLD PROYECT
1º E.S.O. GEOGRAPHY PROYECT
“WORLD CLIMATES AND LANDSCAPES”
FINAL PRODUCT:
·
A
power point about the climates and landscapes of the world
·
An
oral presentation about the proyect
STEPS:
·
The
class will be divided into 8 groups. Each group will be responsible of
developing a well-worked presentation on each one of the 8 major climates of
the Earth that will be decided by random
·
You
must start reading in your book the pages associates to your climate in unit 6
and 7, as well as, you must consult the list of resources the teacher will
bring to you.
·
To
do the proyect, you must investigate on the Internet
PRESENTATION: what does the presentation have
to include?
1.
A
slide with the title and the name of the authors with their part of the work
2.
A slide with a map that shows you in which areas of the world can your
climate be located
3.
Two slides with a brief explanation about your corresponding climate,
clearly indicating what the temperatures and rainfall are like, and if there is
any peculiar aspect to highlight
4.
A slide with one or two climographs of your climate, and a brief and
clear explanation of some of the climographs (justify why it represents your
climate)
5.
A slide explaining the landscapes of the climate
6.
A series of slides in which you can see images of the landscapes of your
climate
7.
A slide about cultural peculiarity: tribes that inhabit it, curious
types of dwellings…
8.
The last slide where you can writte the difficulties you have had and
how the proyect have been developed
VERY IMPORTANT:

It
is not about doing very long works, but well elaborated, cleaned and organized.
·
Order
and cleanliness, content, resources used and presentation skills will be assessed.
Final deadline will be previously agreed.

Deadline to start oral
presentations: 28 th January
